CURRENT VACANCIES
ACE’s EXPERT CENTRE DEPT. is in charge of the whole management of the Human Resources for ACE, both internal staff and external experts assigned to the projects. We are looking for two different positions in our HQ in downtown MADRID:
1 The EXPERT CENTRE’S PROJECT MANAGER position is open to a professional with a background in aid development projects and HHRR or Public Relations and Communication. He/she shall manage both internal staff and external experts’ relationships. We are expecting to find a professional with a Bachelor/MSc Degree, with excellent command of English (and Spanish) 5+ years of experience (at least 2/3 yr. as international project manager, preferably in Private Sector Development), good knowledge on website and database management and Library Organisation Techniques. Good writing skills and an extended international environment are also necessary. Knowledge of Europeaid procedures is a must. Very appreciated personal skills will be: Negotiation, communications, empathy, creativity, interpersonal skills and capacity to work in different cultural environments; he/she should be strongly Team working prone, with public presentations skills.
Enrolment conditions: Immediate availability is necessary. Terms and conditions (salary plus bonus) to be agreed upon experience and values provided. Expatriate expenses contribution could be negotiated.
2 The EXPERT CENTRE’S ASSISTANT AND TRAVEL MANAGER position is open to a professional with English and Spanish at a high level to take care of: (i) Experts Database, (ii) ACE’s communication tools (web page, newsletter and blog) and (iii) manage the relationships with our travel agents as internal Travel Manager. We are searching for a good IT advanced user, with experience on Database Management (preferably on SQL based software, introduction of data, database updating…), web page design & management and with experience in travel & accommodation budget management. We expect to find a young professional with 2+yr working experience with deep knowledge of IT Tools on Database management (preferably with Knowledge on Library Organisation Techniques) along with a good knowledge of the travel & accommodation industry. An additional knowledge on EuropeAid procedures shall be a bonus.
